ICHOM 2025
September 29-October 1, 2025
The Convention Centre Dublin, Ireland
The International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) is a non-profit organisation founded by three visionary leaders: Professor Michael Porter from Harvard Business School, Dr. Stefan Larsson from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Dr. Martin Ingvar from the Karolinska Institute, with the purpose to transform healthcare systems worldwide by measuring and reporting patient outcomes in a standardised way.
Standardised, comparable and objectively measurable outcomes are the ultimate marker of success in healthcare. Patients want to know what their life will be like after treatment: will they return to work, will they be able to take care of themselves, and will their symptoms improve? Helping patients answer these questions is why ICHOM was formed.
ICHOM organises global teams of physician leaders, outcomes researchers and patient advocates to define Patient-Centered Outcomes Measures of outcomes per medical condition, and then drives adoption to enable health care providers globally to compare, learn, and improve. We debuted our first Patient-Centered Outcomes Measures for cataracts, coronary artery disease, localized prostate cancer, and low back pain - in November 2013. We have now completed over 40 Patient-Centered Outcomes Measures of the world's most burdensome conditions.
We are an international team of diverse professionals striving to make a positive change in healthcare. We welcome people from different backgrounds across the world as what we value most is expertise, experience and enthusiasm to drive the mission forward. ICHOM is a truly global organisation.
Come together with an international cohort of healthcare professionals at ICHOM’s annual conference on 29 September-1 October at The Convention Centre Dublin, Ireland. Book your pass today to be part of the global movement transforming health systems: https://bit.ly/3SBTJeH
